We understand that plans can change, and as such, we have established a comprehensive cancellations and refund policy to address various scenarios and ensure transparency and fairness. This policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding cancellations, modifications, and refunds for bookings made through our website, shagunresorts.com, or directly with our reservations team.

2. General Provisions

Scope: This cancellations and refund policy applies to all bookings made for accommodations, restaurant reservations, water park access, and any other services provided by SHAGUN INDIA INFRATECH LIMITED.

Definitions:

  • Booking: A confirmed reservation for accommodations, restaurant services, water park access, or other services offered by SHAGUN INDIA INFRATECH LIMITED.
  • Cancellation: The act of nullifying a confirmed booking by the guest or by SHAGUN INDIA INFRATECH LIMITED.
  • Refund: The return of all or part of the payment made by the guest for a booking that has been canceled or modified.
  • No-Show: When a guest does not arrive for their booking without prior notification to SHAGUN INDIA INFRATECH LIMITED.
  • Early Departure: When a guest leaves before the end of their booked stay.

3. Cancellation Policy

Advance Booking Cancellations:

  • More than 48 Hours Before Check-In: If you cancel your reservation more than 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid. This applies to all types of bookings, including hotel accommodations, restaurant reservations, and water park access.
  • Within 48 Hours of Check-In: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total booking amount. The remaining balance will be refunded to you. To process the cancellation, please contact our reservations team with your booking reference number.

Same-Day Bookings:

  • Cancellations: For same-day bookings, cancellations must be made at least 6 hours before the scheduled check-in time to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 6 hours of the scheduled check-in time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.

No-Shows and Early Departures:

  • No-Shows: If you fail to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notification, your booking will be treated as a no-show, and the entire booking amount will be forfeited. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
  • Early Departures: If you decide to leave before the end of your booked stay, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of your reservation. Exceptions may be made in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, subject to management approval.

Group Bookings and Special Events:

  • Group Bookings: For group bookings of five or more rooms or reservations for special events, cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the scheduled check-in date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the check-in date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.
  • Special Events: For bookings made during peak seasons, holidays, or special events, a non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking. The terms and conditions for these bookings will be specified at the time of reservation.

4. Refund Policy

Processing Refunds:

  • Timeframe: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of cancellation. The refund will be credited to the original method of payment used at the time of booking.
  • Partial Refunds: In cases where a partial refund is applicable, the specific amount will be calculated based on the terms outlined in the cancellation policy. The refund amount will be clearly communicated to the guest at the time of cancellation.

Refund Exceptions:

  • Non-Refundable Rates: Certain promotional or discounted rates may be non-refundable. These rates will be clearly marked as non-refundable at the time of booking, and no refunds will be issued for cancellations or modifications.
  • Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions, we may offer alternative options or flexible cancellation policies. Guests will be notified of any changes to their bookings and provided with options for rescheduling or refunds.

Method of Refund:

  • Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunds for bookings paid by credit or debit card will be processed back to the original card used for the transaction. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your card statement, depending on your card issuer's policies.
  • Bank Transfers: For bookings paid by bank transfer, refunds will be processed to the original bank account used for the payment. Please provide your bank details when requesting a refund.
  • Digital Wallets: For bookings paid via digital wallets, refunds will be processed back to the original wallet account used for the payment.

5. Modifications to Bookings

Changing Your Booking:

  • Room Upgrades: Guests may request a room upgrade subject to availability. Any additional charges for the upgraded room will be communicated and must be paid at the time of modification.
  • Date Changes: Guests can request changes to the dates of their booking, subject to availability and any applicable rate differences. Requests for date changes must be made at least 48 hours before the original check-in date. Changes made within 48 hours of the check-in date may incur a modification fee.
  • Adding Services: Guests can add additional services, such as extra beds, meals, or water park access, to their booking. Additional charges will apply, and the request must be made at least 24 hours before check-in.

Modification Fees:

  • Standard Modifications: For standard modifications made more than 48 hours before check-in, no modification fee will be charged. Guests will only be responsible for any difference in the rate due to the change.
  • Last-Minute Modifications: Modifications made within 48 hours of check-in may incur a modification fee. The amount of the fee will be communicated to the guest at the time of the request.

6. Special Considerations

Medical Emergencies:

  • In the event of a medical emergency that necessitates cancellation or early departure, guests may be eligible for a full or partial refund. Supporting documentation, such as a doctor's note or hospital discharge summary, may be required. Each case will be reviewed on an individual basis by management.

Bereavement:

  • If a guest needs to cancel or modify their booking due to the death of an immediate family member, a full or partial refund may be provided. Proof of bereavement, such as a death certificate, may be required. Management will review each case individually.

Travel Disruptions:

  • In cases of significant travel disruptions, such as flight cancellations or natural disasters, guests may be eligible for flexible cancellation policies or refunds. Guests should contact our reservations team as soon as possible to discuss their situation.

7. Hotel-Specific Policies

Check-In and Check-Out:

  • Check-In Time: Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM. Early check-in requests will be accommodated subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Check-Out Time: Standard check-out time is 11:00 AM. Late check-out requests will also be subject to availability and may incur additional charges. If you require a late check-out, please contact the front desk on the day of departure.

    • Modifications: Guests can modify their restaurant reservations, such as changing the time or number of guests, subject to availability. Requests for modifications should be made at least 24 hours in advance.

    No-Show Policy:

    • For restaurant reservations, if a guest does not arrive within 30 minutes of the reserved time without prior notification, the reservation will be treated as a no-show, and the table may be released to other guests. Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on future reservations.

    9. Water Park and Swimming Pool Policies

    Ticket Purchases:

    • Cancellation: Water park tickets can be canceled up to 48 hours before the scheduled visit for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled visit will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the ticket price.
    • Modifications: Guests can modify the date of their water park visit, subject to availability. Requests for modifications should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Any difference in ticket prices due to date changes must be paid at the time of modification.

    Weather Policy:

    • In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, SHAGUN INDIA INFRATECH LIMITED reserves the right to close the water park for the safety of our guests. If the water park is closed due to weather, guests will be offered the option to reschedule their visit or receive a full refund for the affected tickets.

    10. Group Bookings and Events

    Group Bookings:

    • Cancellation: For group bookings of five or more rooms, cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the scheduled check-in date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the check-in date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.
    • Modifications: Requests for modifications to group bookings should be made at least 14 days in advance. Any changes to the number of rooms or dates will be subject to availability and rate adjustments.

    Event Bookings:

    • Cancellation: For event bookings, such as weddings, conferences, or parties, cancellations must be made at least 30 days before the scheduled event date to receive a full refund of any deposits paid. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total event cost.
    • Modifications: Modifications to event bookings, such as changes in the number of attendees or event dates, should be made at least 14 days in advance. Any additional costs due to modifications will be communicated and must be paid prior to the event.
